Shifa Free Health Clinic was founded in 2015 in an effort to serve those in need. Anyone can become a patient, and all are welcome. Please call or text us to schedule an appointment.

Services offered: Free health screenings, written prescriptions, consultations, over the counter medications and discounted lab services. Give us a call if you have questions or medical concerns about what we offer. If we are unable to offer a service, we may be able to direct you to someone who can.

Shifa Free Health Clinic is entirely dependent on volunteers to make our services possible. We thrive on reliable volunteers who are passionate about providing health care services to the uninsured and underinsured population in Charlotte.

One of the unique features of being a Shifa Free Health Clinic volunteer is that you get to work with a wide variety of individuals such as doctors, nurses, medical students, nutritionists, social workers, IT specialists, engineers, undergraduates studying a wide variety of disciplines and more.

Our volunteers also come from a wide variety of backgrounds coming from over a dozen of countries around the world. There is a place for everyone at Shifa!
